Guided Christian Meditations

A guided Christian meditation offers a gentle structure for becoming still with God.

You do not have to decide what to do with every moment. A voice carries the practice forward while leaving room for silence, Scripture and your own experience.

What Is a Guided Christian Meditation?

A guided meditation may lead you through breath, bodily awareness, Scripture, prayer and quiet reflection.

The guidance is not meant to replace your relationship with God. It helps create enough steadiness for attention to deepen.

What to Expect

Most practices begin by settling the body and noticing the breath. A passage or spiritual theme is introduced slowly, followed by pauses where you can listen and receive.

There is no correct feeling to produce. Peace, emotion, distraction and silence can all be part of the practice.

Choosing a Meditation

Choose according to the time you have and what you are carrying. You may need rest, trust, courage, forgiveness or simply a few minutes without striving.

A short meditation practiced honestly can be more meaningful than a long practice endured out of obligation.

Begin a Guided Practice

Start with a five-minute meditation, allow more room with a ten-minute meditation, or explore Bible-verse meditations.
