I come to Scripture as someone who has spent years teaching, counseling, meditating and asking what it means for spiritual truth to become lived experience.

Why I Created Christ Lives in You
I created Christ Lives in You because I wanted a place where study and spiritual experience did not have to be separated.
I value history, language and careful interpretation. I also know that a person can understand a passage intellectually without ever becoming quiet enough to let it come near.
This work brings those movements together: study Scripture deeply, sit with it contemplatively and carry it into your life.
My Relationship with Meditation
I have practiced meditation for roughly twenty years. The practice has changed across seasons of my life, but its central invitation has remained: slow down, become present and stop striving long enough to notice what is already here.
I am also a trained yoga teacher and Reiki master, and I continue personal somatic work. These experiences have shaped my awareness of how the body carries fear, memory, safety and spiritual longing.
I bring that awareness into Christian meditation without pretending every tradition is identical. I am interested in honest points of connection as well as meaningful differences.
Teaching, Counseling and Learning
I hold a master’s degree in counseling, an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in health science. I have taught in Montessori classrooms and at the college level.
Counseling taught me to listen for what is beneath an answer. Teaching taught me that understanding cannot simply be delivered; it must be discovered, questioned and integrated.

My Approach to Scripture
I am not interested in presenting every biblical question as though faithful people have always agreed about it.
When history can be established, I want to source it. When a Hebrew or Greek word matters, I want to understand what it can and cannot tell us. When Jewish, Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant readers approach a passage differently, those differences are worth acknowledging.
And when I move into personal reflection, I want to name it as reflection rather than disguising it as certainty.

I am the author of Christ Lives in You, a book shaped by the conviction that union with Christ is not merely an idea to affirm but a reality that changes how we see ourselves, God and one another.
The book’s voice continues here: personal, contemplative and willing to remain with questions that do not resolve quickly.
